DHL Supply Chain

PROJECT: Supply chain of the Future

Bringing operational strategy to life through visual storytelling

When strategic priorities are complex, it can be hard to communicate them in a way that lands. DHL Supply Chain needed a clear and engaging way to show what the future of supply chains looks like – one that could work for everyone from frontline teams to senior stakeholders and external partners.

We created a detailed, realistic warehouse visual that brings four key focus areas to life: Modular Standardization, Digital by Default, OMS First Choice and Transport. Built in close collaboration with senior leaders, it shows how each element connects, while still allowing for standalone use.

Visualising a complex strategy

The visual is grounded in real operational settings and designed for flexibility. It can be used as a full picture or broken down by pillar, with tailored versions to suit internal conversations, customer meetings or strategy rollouts. To support even wider use, we also developed annotated versions that provide clarity on key elements without overwhelming the story.

Already in use across presentations, planning sessions and leadership alignment meetings, the visual is helping teams across the business connect their day-to-day work to the future direction.

What was the meaningful difference?

This project turned strategic complexity into a single, practical asset teams can use again and again. It helped connect the dots between big-picture direction and daily action – making the future of supply chains something everyone can engage with.
