DHL GLOBAL FORWARDING

PROJECT: TALENT ACQUISITION - ACADEMY ISLAND

Engaging Talent Manager’s with personal development training

Ensuring that colleagues feel confident, engaged, and recognised is a priority for many businesses. DHL Global Forwarding wanted to ensure that Talent Acquisition Managers and Hiring Managers understood how important their roles are and feel passionate about the work they do.

DHL Global Forwarding launched a training programme for Talent Acquisition Managers and Hiring Managers but as this training was not mandatory, they needed an engaging campaign to encourage them to complete it.

However, the campaign needed to be about more than just completing a set of training modules. DHL Global Forwarding wanted these colleagues to feel special and understand their role is about much more than just recruitment.

But how do you encourage employees to complete training whilst also making them feel important and recognised? By adding an element of fun and adventure into the programme, taking them on a journey to become the best Talent Acquisition explorers they can be.

Inviting employees to visit The TA Academy Island

The TA Academy Island takes employees on an adventure as they complete their training modules, adding an element of fun, and encouraging engagement. It aimed to make employees feel recognised and realise their role is important as they are the ones who have the skills to ‘explore’ the world and find the best talent to join DHL Global Forwarding.

Visually connecting the Talent Acquisition Managers with Hiring Managers aimed to help strengthen the relationship between the two teams, as the hiring process relies on both teams working together.

The campaign materials included everything DHL Global Forwarding needed to make employees aware of the training modules and encourage employees to complete the training, including; posters, social media assets and post copy, and a one-page training modules overview.

What was the meaningful difference?

The TA Academy Island helped employees feel more engaged and motivated, and they became more familiar with the Talent Acquisition Academy business model, vision, and culture.

“They all liked the playful approach and all the details, and all captured the story behind it. It was really fun to work on this project and we all appreciate your dedication!”
